Holy Rosary Diocese of Lansing November 25, 2021

READ: “NURSING THE SICK, CARING FOR CHRIST”: Meet Cynthia DeLeon Thelen from Jackson. Cynthia is a Catholic and a nurse. Time spent with Our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration inspired Cynthia to help establish the Diocese of Lansing Council of Catholic Nurses in April of 2020. Their motto? “Nursing the Sick; Caring for Christ.”

“We welcome new members to reach out to us at catholicnurses.mi@gmail.com. Come as you are and leave your credentials at the door,” explains Cynthia to Nancy Rosebush Schertzing of FAITH Magazine, the official publication of the Diocese of Lansing.

“We come together to pray, share our lived experiences in a confidential setting and explore our faith. Many appreciate this chance to share our many experiences of joys and challenges with others who understand ethical issues as Catholics.”
