New this year to Holy Rosary and St. Mary’s!

Family Faith Formation!

NOW OPEN! REGISTRATION FOR 2023-2024 (1-8th Grade)

The “Primary Educators” in any child’s life are the parents. What happens at home provides lessons for life.  Family Formation supports parents in their role as the primary educators of their children in the Catholic Faith.

At the Parish: Families gather together once a month. Parents are involved in teaching their children. Parents hear the Gospel message, learn the Faith, and come to understand what the church is asking from them.  By giving them support and encouragement in their mission, we are responding to God’s call.

In the Home: Weekly Home Lessons provide the backbone for children’s spiritual formation and cover all-the major principals of the Catholic Faith.  In the family, faith is shared as part of the unfolding of daily life. The home or “domestic church” provides a real place in which a child learns to live his or her faith as well as understanding it.

Our goal is to create a program of lifelong faith formation that is centered in and flows out of the events of Church life. It embraces all ages and generations, promotes faith growth at home and promotes participation in Church life.

To register your children for Family Faith Formation, please complete the form posted on your parish’s website or found in the parish office with $60 per family for registration.
